COMAR Training Course
The Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) require caregivers working in assisted living take the following 10 courses (which are included in the 80-hour manager's course): Alzheimer's & Dementia, Food Safety, Fire and Life Safety, Emergency and Disaster Training, Infection Control & Standard Precautions, Health and Psychosocial Needs, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation, and Resident Rights. In addition, we offer Vital Signs, the Resident Assessment process, Body Mechanics, Lifting, & Transfers, seizure & Epilepsy, Business Planning, Business Marketing, Quality Assurance Planning, and Assisted Living COMAR review. These classes are available most week days by appointment.
